European Association of Public Banks, Public Relations Manager
Since May 2002, Miriam Roemers has been Public Relations Manager at the European Association of Public Banks (EAPB). The EAPB represents financial institutions, public banks, funding agencies, associations of public banks and banks with similar interests and their specific tasks at the European level. Miriam Roemers graduated from the Free University of Brussels’ faculty of Arts and Philosophy as Master of Arts in Germanic Philology, completed a post-graduate in Educational Sciences at the same university and successfully completed a business administration programme at the University of Antwerp Management School. She started her career in the commercial department of a Japanese multinational, moved on to an American E-commerce company and was language lecturer at the Chamber of Commerce, VIZO and the University of Antwerp (ICTL). She is a member of the Administrative Board of the Brussels Chamber of Commerce, member of the Belgian Public Relations Centre and senator of Junior Chamber International. Through the EAPB, she has been a member of EACD since January 2007.
