GE, through its financial business, GE Capital, was exposed to negative sentiment in the media, who began to question the company's business model and future prospects after the financial crisis. GE built a campaign to defend the company's reputation and regain the trust of its stakeholders. At the heart of this is the Amplification Room, a new tool that has helped the company to rebuild its reputation and has become central to all its communications efforts.
