Impact of Social Media on Crisis Communications and Reputation- Lufthansa's case
When a Lufthansa airplane experienced a
wingstrike while landing in Hamburg in March
2008 during a storm, images and videos could
be found online in a very short time, which
had a direct repercussion on the company's reputation, as well the company's crisis communications strategy. Andreas Bartels will share how Lufthansa reacted in this situation, and how the airline's reputation management strategy
changed with the advent of social media.
