Deputy Head of the Health Communication Unit, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC)

Paulo Moreira is the Deputy Head of the Health Communication Unit at the ECDC, responsible for fostering communication among member states and
supporting the implementation of health communication structures in Europe. Prof. Moreira is leading the health communication knowledge and resource centre at ECDC and holds a Ph.D. specialising in Social Marketing and Public Health from the University of Manchester / Manchester Business School (Centre for Health Management).
