Alastair Campbell confirmed as Keynote Speaker
We are delighted to announce that Alastair Campbell, former Director of Communications and Strategy for the ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair, will be presenting one of the keynote addresses within the field of Communication Strategy.
During Mr Campbell's time in Downing Street he was involved in all the major policy issues and international crises faced by the British government. His role as strategist received considerable attention in the lead up to the Iraq war and he demonstrated an expansive understanding of the modern media, crisis management, and change communications.
Mr Campbell's book on the period, 'The Blair Years', was an instant Sunday Times Number 1 bestseller. He has also written novels on the subjects of mental illness and fame, which have been critically praised.
Alastair Campbell remains an active contributor in politics, and a speaker known for applying his own international experience to politics, corporations and the non-profit sector.
